Directions to Shambhala Mountain Center from Boulder
The easiest route:
- From 28th Street, go east on the Diagonal Highway for 18.7 miles to Interstate I-25.
- Go north (left) on I-25 for 29.3 miles.
- Exit on CO 14 W/Mulberry Street (exit 269B towards Fort Collins).
- Stay on CO 14 W/Mulberry Street for 3.7 miles and take a right (head north) on College Avenue/US-287.
- Continue on US-287 for 20.5 miles.
- Then, turn left on 74E, just before the Fork’s Restaurant (sign to Livermore, Red Feather Lakes and Boy Scout Ranch).
- Drive 16 miles on 74E, then make a left onto County Road 68C, just after the blue and white sign that says "Shambhala Mountain Center 5 Miles."
- Go 5 miles to Shambhala Mountain Center entrance on left.
The 'scenic' and slightly quicker route:
- From 28th Street, go east on the Diagonal Highway for 18.7 miles to Interstate I-25.
- Go north (left) on I-25 for 41.1 miles to Owl Canyon Road, Exit 281.
- Head west toward the mountains for 7.5 miles and follow the road sharply to the right just past Weaver Ranch.
- Continue 1.2 miles and make a left at the "T."
- Go 3 miles into the mountains to a stop sign at Highway 287.
- Go right and continue for 2.5 miles, then turn left on 74E just before the Fork's Restaurant (sign to Livermore, Red Feather Lakes and Boy Scout Ranch).
- Drive 16 miles on 74E, then make a left onto County Road 68C, just after the blue and white sign that says "Shambhala Mountain Center 5 Miles."
- Go 5 miles to Shambhala Mountain Center entrance on left.
