It is heart-warming to see your wonderful faces again and a great way to recollect the profound experience I had at Shambhala. Last week I painted my bedroom---one red wall, 3 yellow, with a white ceiling, and have my small Tibetan Windhorse garland above my window...I count my blessings and say Namaste to you all.

I found the time I spent with everyone still working in me each day. I feel blessed to have been apart of the program. Also I got back my PET/CT scan and for now I am cancer free and on to Radiation. Thanks for all the love and support. Pat

The retreat truly was a gathering of Courageous Women! Everyone shared, supported, and showed love to our fellow sisters. The meditation training and yoga sessions were great. Dr. Geffen's talks put a human perspective on our journey. Just wish I had attended the nutrition sessions! Hope to see everyone at as reunion next year.

For me, the five days we spent together in this blissful healing environment was wonderful from so many perspectives. I loved the nutritional guidance, the yoga, the meditation, the healing visualizations, and most of all the courageous women, so full of life and vigor.
Be well, my sister dakinis, be well.

It was truly the best thing I have ever done for myself. I was the sobbing blonde that last day. I live in Bellvue, Colorado...which is about 40 miles away from the Shambhala Center and I'm currently healthy, however, still battling some GIST tumors in the liver. But, the mesothelioma is gone. (One out of two is a good thing)I think of all of you very often, and on my return home I had to go out and buy Marvin Gaye's "Lets get it on" and also "Under Pressure"....that was an amazing evening....so much energy from so many wonderful women. Thank you all so very much.

As a survivor, I was looking for a road map and tips on navigating the new 'normal' of my everyday life. The retreat offered me that plus ways to nurture my soul. Thank you to each and every one of you for difference you have made in my life.

I think so often of my few lovely, peaceful, powerful days in the mountains! Just the memory brings its own kind of energy. Sure wish I'd had my eyes open for this shot!
Beka Davis
I had a wonderful time. I hadn't connected with a group of people coping with cancer, and I did appreciate that it was women. A men's retreat would be nice for men, I would think.
Gail Martin
I still carry the inspiration and courage that I gained from my Shambhala experience. Often I think of the acquaintances I made and it is good to have the picture to refresh my memory of all the ladies there.

Hello to all of you courageous women that I have carried in my heart in all my mediations. And I send blissful gratitude to our insightful and compassionate instructors. I continue to experience the joy/sorrow joy/sorrow joy/sorrow emotions from the last day of bowing to one another whenever I attempt to explain to someone the significance of this retreat for me. Namaste. jmv

What a miracle it is to integrate technology this way! Thanks to all who figured this out. I am in awe of the power of this group to engage me still. The journey in spirit, with the land, in ourselves and with our wonderful teachers was healing and grounding as well as challenging. And we danced with it all so beautifully!!
