SPECIAL PROJECTS
Shambhala Mountain Center is currently involved in two projects above and beyond our normal operations - the construction of a new wastewater treatment facility and the mitigation of the Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic that is sweeping through the Rocky Mountains.
A New Wastewater Treatment Facility: Laying the Ground for Future Growth at Shambhala Mountain Center
We are currently engaged in one of our largest capital campaigns to date. The construction of a wastewater treatment facility large enough to service a small town may be indicative of where we are headed in the future, but at the same time this is an important foundational project for Shambhala Mountain Center in the present.

COURAGEOUS WOMEN SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year Shambhala Mountain Center hosts the Courageous Women, Fearless Living: A Retreat for Women Touched by Cancer. Led by an extraordinary team of experts in the field, this program provides a supportive and nurturing environment in which body, mind and heart are integrated to discover new ways to meet the challenges presented by cancer.
Because many of the women who wish to attend this retreat are faced with huge medical bills, Shambhala Mountain Center is committed to making this program affordable to everyone. By contributing to the Courageous Women Scholarship Fund, you are helping a woman touched by cancer attend this magical program.
