Assists manager with the maintenance of the organization’s computer and telephone systems including approximately 50 PCs and Macs running through heterogeneous small business network systems.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Install individual computers, troubleshoot and repair individual computer issues. Work with various servers including Microsoft Small Business, windows Sharepoint and Exchange/SQL as assigned. Provide help desk support to staff and program participants. Assists in physical infrastructure phone line maintenance and servicing. Participate in the provision of 7-day per week coverage for both computer and phone systems.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
B.A. in Computer Science, 1-3 years experience in computer network management, experience in hardware and wiring installation, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, positive communication skills and orientation to customer service, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Help desk experience and knowledge of digital phone systems a plus.
