The position will assist with the planning and execution of fundraising/donor events, including the coordination of food, A/V needs, entertainment, staffing and donation collections. Additional duties could include the collection, preparation and disbursement of auction items, assisting the department with administrative tasks such as filing and ordering office supplies, assisting with solicitation and collection of funds through direct donor communications via phone, email and written correspondence or in person. And assistance with the donor database system as required.
Experience in fundraising, event coordination or a related field is preferred. Experience with a donor data base system is also preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required as well as excellent communication skills, excellent organizational skills including an attention detail and a strong customer service orientation.
