Shambhala Training Level IV: Awakened Heart
March 7–9, 2014
** Program update: Steve Seely will be the director for this program, in place of Melissa Robinson. ** In Shambhala Training Level IV, we learn how to open our hearts so we can communicate more fully with the world. Rather than using our experiences as an occasion to regenerate habitual patterns, we can use them as reminders to further wake up. When we allow ourselves to meet the world without hope and fear we find resources of energy and steadiness.
Prerequisite: Completion of Shambhala Training Level III
Steve Seely met the founder of Shambhala Training, Chogyam Trungpa, in 1975 and has taught extensively in the tradition for over 30 years. He completed a traditional Tibetan Buddhist three-year retreat in 1996 and was Managing Director of Nitartha Institute for Higher Buddhist Studies for 6 years. He has engaged in both non- and for-profit livelihood pursuits and currently is on staff at Shambhala Mountain Center, residing nearby with his family and enjoying the mountain air.
Financial aid is available for this program.
