Young Sangha Meditation Retreat
August 28–30, 2015
Learn to Meditate, Meditation & Mindfulness, Shambhala
Please join us for a Young Sangha Meditation Retreat at Shambhala Mountain Center for sangha in their teens, twenties and thirties. We will be living as a close community during the retreat and will plan our activities together so as to include everyone. One of the common aims of this retreat will be to practice meditation in an “intensive” way together and to support each other in this practice. We will provide meditation instruction for those who are new to the practice, and we will meditate in the Great Stupa of Dharmakaya as part of the retreat.
Shambhala Mountain Center is offering a special price of $54 per night for tent double accommodations for this retreat in order to make it more affordable for young sangha. This rate includes all meals.
If you would like to upgrade to lodge accommodations, you can do so at a 25% discount for this retreat by entering the discount code “Sangha25” when you register. This discount does not apply to the already deeply discounted Tent Double accommodations.
This retreat is open to new and experienced meditators alike.
This retreat will be led by Duncan McNaught. Duncan has been practicing and studying with the Shambhala Community since 2003, and formally became a student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche in 2005. He is currently a meditation instructor and teacher within the Shambhala Community, and has been managing the Boulder Young Sangha offerings since September 2012.
