The Dathun can be taken in it’s entirety or in weekly segments. If you wish to join for Weekthün I, you feel inspired to do an intensive group retreat. If you already have a meditation practice, that is a good foundation.

Laundry Services
Due to restrictions on water usage at Shambhala Mountain Center, the laundry for participants attending the Dathün will be done professionally off site. Laundry service is for those who will be attending two weeks or more, and costs $20 per week plus a one-time fee of $5, which will be due when you check in on your arrival date.

Acharya Allyn Lyon
Acharya Allyn Lyon is a senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition. She has served as director of Shambhala Mountain Center and has taught at Vajradhatu Seminary. Allyn has traveled and taught extensively in Europe, the U.S. and Mexico, as well as at Naropa University. She currently serves as resident acharya in both Tepotzlan, Mexico and Los Angeles, California. Allyn is known for the clarity and directness of her teaching and for her irreverent sense of humor.
