Arrival and Departure Days
Arrival and departure days are the first and last days of your program. We ask you to arrive between 2 and 5pm on Friday, November 6, the day your program begins. The program ends with lunch at 12:30pm on Sunday, November 8.
You are welcome to arrive before your designated arrival day or depart after the departure day, provided that we have housing available. Therefore, please make such arrangements in advance by calling (888) STUPA-21. The price for each extra night will depend on your choice of housing.
Traveling Assistance
If you need assistance getting to the Center, please read the travel information in the packet you will receive from us in the mail or online.
Carpool: We offer a ride-share message board, where you can offer and request rides.

We are located 2 to 2.5 hours from Denver International Airport (DEN).
Super Shuttle (Airport–Fort Collins):
The Super Shuttle Airport Express runs between Denver International Airport and the Fort Collins Hilton approximately every hour. Please visit their website for the current schedule. The fare is $32 each way. Super Shuttle web site
Shambhala Shuttle (Ft. Collins–Shambhala Mountain Center):
The Shambhala shuttle runs between the Fort Collins Hilton and Shambhala Mountain Center during normal business hours. We can arrange a trip for you if you make a reservation by the deadline listed in your program letter (two weeks before arrival for small programs and in-house retreats or one month before arrival for large programs such as seminary and dathün). Flight arrival: Please schedule your flight to arrive at Denver International Airport (DEN) BEFORE 1pm on Friday, November 6.
Flight Departure: For weekend programs (and others four days or less), please schedule your return flight out of DEN after 7pm on Sunday, November 8. For Dathün, Sutrayana Seminary and Vajrayana Seminary, please schedule your return flight out of DEN after 3pm on Sunday, November 8. For all other programs, please check the program page on our web site or contact our call center for exact departure times.
We will not be able to accommodate your travel needs if your travel is scheduled too late or too early in the day. One solution is arriving the night before and staying at a hotel in Fort Collins for next day pickup.
The nonrefundable roundtrip fare for the Shambhala Shuttle is $80.
