Meeting the Queen of Dakinis: A Vajrayogini Practice Intensive at The Great Stupa of Dharmakaya with Acharya Judith Simmer-Brown

Join us for this precious opportunity to immerse yourself in vivid world of the coemergent mother under the guidance of an extraordinary scholar and teacher of yidam principle.

The precious treasure of the Kagyu lineage, the sadhana of the yidam Vajrayogini, holds powerful transmissions for immediate transformation of our lives. Emotional and conceptual obscurations are burned in her fiery wisdom, and her unblinking gaze awakens our greatest capacities for limitless awareness. Special attention will be placed on co-emergent Mahamudra within the practice. This sadhana intensive, appropriate for all levels of Vajrayogini practitioners, is a celebration of the heart of our Vajrayana community and culture.

Prerequisite: Vajrayogini Abhisheka

Acharya Judith Simmer-Brown, PhD, is a professor of Buddhist studies at Naropa University and director of the Ngedon School of Higher Studies. She is also author of Dakini's Warm Breath: The Feminine Principle in Tibetan Buddhism. She travels and teaches in North America, Europe and Asia, teaching meditation practice, Buddhist philosophy, tantric Buddhism and inter-religious dialogue.

Our intent is to encourage and support intensive practice opportunities for Shambhala community members. Therefore we are making this program available to all qualified Vajrayogini practitioners by offering it under Shambhala Mountain's generosity policy. The policy provides the opportunity for participants to pay what they can afford by selecting one of three pricing options. The first option is Shambhala Mountain's regular room and board rates.

The second option is a flat room and board rate of $70 per night. Your accommodations will be the best we have available after accommodating all participants paying our regular rates. Priority for best-available housing will be on a first-come first-served basis. We will not be able to confirm which housing you will be assigned until one week prior to the program start date.

The third option is the same as the second option except the flat room and board rate is $40 per night. Again, housing is best available on a first-come first-served basis. Please understand that we are not able to provide student or senior discounts at this rate.

There will also be an opportunity during the program to offer a teachers gift.
