Shambhala Sacred Path: Meek, Perky, and Outrageous & Inscrutable with Acharya Arawana HayashiMay 4 – 10, 2009
In this six-day intensive, The Sacred Path program introduces further practices of warriorship, that extend the basic meditation training. In this six-day intensive we will train in the four dignities—Meek, Perky, Outrageous & Inscrutable—we will mature as warriors, widening our sphere of benevolent engagement in the world with humility, nobility, vision, upliftedness and delight.
Prerequisite: Drala Acharya Arawana Hayashi is a dancer, choreographer, and master meditation teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage who recently completed a three-year term as teacher-in-residence at Karmê Chöling in Vermont. Chair of the Shambhala Arts Council and faculty member of the Shambhala Institute for Authentic Leadership, she also offers Presence workshops nationwide with Otto Scharmer, coauthor with Peter Senge of Presence: An Exploration of Profound Change in People, Organizations and Society.
