"Sometimes the function of illness is deeper than having something wrong or getting rid of it. To catch a glimpse of the forces of the psyche and the unconscious motivation behind illness is astounding." Brugh Joy, MD Underneath most physical and psychological symptoms a disowned shadow part of us is seeking to be heard. In this workshop, we will use Energy Healing, Voice Dialogue, and Somatic Experiencing to access the unconscious forces that lie beneath our symptoms and bring expression and healing to disowned aspects of ourselves. You will learn the basic scientific understanding of the body-mind connection, experience profound states of inner peace and openness through Somatic Resourcing, and access the power of the subconscious (images, symbols, and colors) to unlock the hidden prescriptions for health, vitality and living more fully. A powerful adjunct to medical treatment, this dynamic approach can enhance recovery from a host of ailments including neuromuscular conditions, skin rashes, migraines, insomnia, sexual dysfunction, arthritis, and many other chronic symptoms. This program is for everyone, including therapists, yoga teachers, healers, lay people, and anyone with chronic symptoms.
