Shambhala Sacred Path: Golden Key with Valerie Lorig

In this culmination of the Shambhala Sacred Path program, we will learn to access the richness inherent in our experience of the world.

Drawing wisdom from The Letter of the Golden Key, a Shambhala root text that addresses our relationship to the material world and our sense perceptions, we will learn the practice of enriching presence—the ability to instantly sense the inner wealth within ourselves, phenomena and the natural world.

Prerequisite: Outrageous & Inscrutable

Valerie Lorig, a practitioner of Buddhism and Shambhala since the 1970’s, teaches at Shambhala centers nationally and at Naropa University. As a Hakomi practitioner, her current work includes exploring the union of meditative practices with mindfulness-based psychology. A long-time student of Trungpa Rinpoche, her passion for the Shambhala principles of merging mindfulness and awareness with daily life developed from extensive study with the Vidyadhara and continues with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
