Dying Consciously: The Greatest Journey with Linda Fitch

March 24 – 28, 2010

To die consciously is the greatest journey we can ever take.
This program has been canceled.

Death is not a topic most people want to acknowledge, much less discuss. But for the shaman, understanding death and allowing it to become like a dialogue with a lover actually allows us to be fully alive.

This retreat is designed for all people involved in the dying process: the individual, family members, and friends. Based on the great death rites of shamanic traditions, it offers easy-to-follow steps to bring dignity and peace back to the dying process as well as specific ways to foster reconciliation for both loved ones and the person dying. By recognizing the kind of emotional and psychological healing needed, these rites teach us how to embrace the end of life with grace and to assist the person making the journey beyond death in a peaceful manner, full of light.

We will explore the history of death, near-death experiences, and the shaman’s journey of awakening. You will learn how to create sacred space for the dying process, remove energetic imprints, and assist the luminous energy field in transitioning between life and death. You will also receive bands of protection to assist you in your work as you help others to embark on their greatest journey. Don’t miss this precious opportunity to discover the ancient art of dying consciously and the incredible healing made possible through this process.

Linda Fitch is Executive Director of the Four Winds Society and Dean of the Light Body School. A passionate teacher, she works at the level of the soul, looking at the larger mythic patterns that shape how we perceive the world. Her latest project and DVD, Dying Consciously, is a non-profit service dedicated to bringing dignity back to the dying process. Her workshops are highly sought-after around the world.

Please arrive between 2 and 5pm on Wednesday, March 24. Program ends with lunch at 12:30pm on Sunday, March 28. View Detailed Program Information.
