Weekday Writers' Retreat: The Fruit of Meditation & Creativity with Susan Piver

May 31 – June 3, 2010

Discover how through meditation you can access your true voice and deepest inspiration.
As writers we all hunger for the same things: time to write and creative flow. Yet even when we find such precious time, it may not be easy to settle into the writing groove. Through practicing meditation, however, we can access our true voice and deepest inspiration. Join us for this four day retreat as we interweave meditation practice, personal writing time and group discussion, sharing both silence and our writing with each other. Open to writers in all genres, published or unpublished. Introductory meditation instruction will be offered. Please feel free to bring your laptop.

Susan Piver is the New York Times bestselling author of four books and a frequent contributor to the Shambhala Sun and Body+Soul magazine. Her latest book is The Wisdom of a Broken Heart. She has been authorized to teach meditation in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage since 2006.

Susan will also be leading a weekend program for writers May 28 to 31. A 20% tuition discount is offered to those participating in both the weekend and weekday programs. Click here to register for both programs.

Extend Your Stay. We are offering a 50% housing discount for additional nights. Come early and relax before your program starts or stay an extra day or more after this program to savor your retreat experience.
