The Path of Compassion: Vajrayana Weekend

October 8 - 10, 2004
In conjunction with her weeklong program, Rinpoche will also offer a weekend of Vajrayana talks for qualified students, during which she will teach on the Kaling Zhitro, or Self-Liberation through Seeing with Naked Awareness. This eighth-century "pointing out" text was written and hidden by Padmasambhava, only to be discovered six centuries later by Karma Lingpa. Rinpoche will provide her own translation and modern commentary on this ancient text.
Khandro Rinpoche—preeminent among female Buddhist teachers today—is well known for her penetrating wisdom and humor, and her command of the English language. Her new book, This Precious Life: Tibetan Buddhist Teachings on the Path to Enlightenment, is available from Shambhala Publications.
Prerequisite: Vajrayana Seminary or equivalent
