Fall into Your Heart: Anusara Yoga & Meditation Retreat with Cindy Lusk & Jeanie Manchester
|
February 1 - 3 This program is full. Our next yoga and meditation weekend will be Inside Ashtanga Yoga & Meditation Retreat with Katharine Kaufman March 14 to 16.
Jeanie Manchester will be co-teaching Practical Enlightenment: A Tantric Wisdom & Anusara Yoga Retreat August 29 – 31.
As a context for our practice, we will touch into the myths and characteristics of the Hindu monkey god Hanuman. Known for his heroic feats inspired by unwavering devotion, Hanuman will take us to the depths of our own heart and to the hearts of others. Join us for this weekend of Anusara yoga, meditation, journaling and group discussion, as we deepen and broaden our exploration into the heart of yoga.
Cindy Lusk, PhD, has been practicing yoga since 1985, studying extensively with John Friend and Richard Freeman, among many others. She is a certified Anusara instructor. A major focus of her teaching, inspired by her teacher Douglas Brooks, is integrating yoga philosophy into practice and life. Cindy began to teach in 1994, first in Boulder, Colorado, and subsequently throughout the nation.
Jeanie Manchester, an avid student and teacher of yoga since 1990, has studied closely with Richard Freeman and John Friend. She is a certified Anusara teacher as well as a devoted student of The Rajanka Tantra tradition as taught by her teacher, Dr. Douglas Brooks. Her classes delightfully blend the precision of the universal principles of alignment with story and myth as a means to take us deeper into the mystery and power of the yogic process.
The registration date for this program has already passed.
