Inward Journey/Outward Bound®: Backpacking in the Colorado Rockies with Kay Peterson, Cynthia Kneen, Chad Bennett & Outward Bound Staff
|
August 29 - September 7 This program has been cancelled.
Embark on an incomparable adventure both inside and out. Pairing the stillness of meditation practice with the movement of challenging, invigorating outdoor activities, we will stretch ourselves beyond our preconceived limitations and habits. Reach new heights of inner awareness in this journey designed to nourish the body and the spirit.
We will begin this retreat with four days of meditation and yoga instrucion and practice at Shambhala Mountain, where we will access our own inherent strength, confidence, compassion and courage. During this time, we will also learn and practice wilderness travel skills. With greater awareness of the body-mind connection, we will then venture forth, backpacking through the pristine Rawah Mountain and Wilderness Area.
Note: All programs are for adults ages 23 and above.
Price: $1,595 + $100 transportation fee
To obtain more information or to register, go to the Outward Bound web site or contact Outward Bound directly at (866) 467-7651 or (866) 820-9577, and reference course number CBM832. If you have difficulty registering, contact Shambhala Mountain at (888) STUPA-21.
