Healthy Body, Happy Mind with Dr. Mark Hyman, Richard Reoch & Susan Piver

August 7 - 10

While science has been increasingly demonstrating that the mind affects the body, what impact does the body have on the mind? Could it be that depression, anxiety, insomnia and other mental disturbances may be caused by imbalances in the body? Can addressing our diet (including food sensitivities and allergies), sleep patterns, exercise habits and level of toxins in our body radically transform our brain function and deeply influence mood, memory and attention? The answer is yes.

This program brings together three well-respected figures in the fields of functional medicine, meditation and Chi Kung to explore the body's influence on our mental well-being. Dr. Mark Hyman, world-renowned expert in functional medicine, will outline lifestyle practices as well as simple remedies we can take to address conditions such as inflammation, hormonal imbalances, environmental toxins and more. Complementing this cutting-edge material, Susan Piver will offer instruction in the ancient wisdom tradition of Buddhist meditation, and Richard Reoch will present Golden Ball Chi Kung.

Whether you are interested in taking that next step to improve your overall health or are an established meditation practitioner wishing to deepen your practice by supporting your body, this workshop will provide an integrated approach to true well-being.
