Tibetan Cranial Training with Shar LeeSeptember 26 – 30, 2008
A nearly extinct energetic healing modality passed down orally from Tibetan monks throughout the centuries, Tibetan Cranial work reconnects us to our inherent healing capacity. While maintaining a state of prayer or mantra, practitioners read and interpret hundreds of pulses and then adjust bones in the skull, jaw, palate and neck. This work has shown to alleviate suffering and promote a profound sense of well-being.
Since this work requires maintaining a steady state of mantra or prayer, practitioners need to have a strong spiritual practice. Given the depth and subtletly of this work, it can take at least two years to mature in its practice. To learn more about the Tibetan Cranial Apprentice program and to apply for the training, visit www.tibetancranial.org or contact Karen DeMarco at admin@tibetancranial.org or (303) 772-0454. Students who have been accepted into the Tibetan Cranial Apprentice Program should register below to attend the September 26 to 30 training. Shar Lee, CYI, has been practicing yoga and Buddhist meditation since 1964. Beginning her Buddhist studies at the Zen Buddhist Temple in Evanston, Illinois, she subsequently studied Buddhism at the White Temple near the Boudhanath Stupa in Nepal with Chogye Trichen Rinpoche (Sakya tradition), Tenga Rinpoche (Kagyu tradition) and Choekyie Nyima Rinpoche (Nyingma/Kagyu tradition). Shar has been teaching yoga and meditation internationally since 1966. In 1987, she began her training in Tibetan Cranial work with Lama Dorje in Kathmandu, Nepal. Shar currently teaches on a wide variety of yoga-related subjects.
Please arrive at 8:30AM on September 26th. The program will begin at 9:00AM and will end at 4:00PM on September 30th. View Detailed Program Information.
