The human body is an open, fluid system that is readily available to a continuous flow of information, energy and nourishment, with tissues that are innately soft, elastic and resilient. Bringing this awareness into our yoga lends a rich, elegant quality to our movement, and allows our practice to be naturally calming to the nervous system.
In this workshop, we will practice with this awareness, inviting the notion of yoga as a construct to fall away. Through inquiry and innovation, we will cultivate our kinesthetic intelligence, allowing the organic, fluid nature of the body to guide our movement and alignment.
Wendy Bramlett is the director of Studio Be Yoga in Boulder, Colorado. She has been involved in the study and practice of yoga since the age of 18, and has been teaching since 1980.
