Tai Chi and mindfulness meditation uncover our inherent gentleness, stability, presence and flexibility. By profoundly reducing stress and increasing our ability to respond to everyday life with awareness, balance and skill, we discover the precious medicines for this era of impatience, anxiety and hurry. In this retreat, beginning practitioners will learn the basics of sitting meditation and Tai Chi. Advanced practitioners will focus on integrating these two wisdom traditions.
Larry Welsh has been a practitioner of Buddhist meditation and Tai Chi Ch'uan since 1977. He practices Japanese acupuncture in Boulder, Colorado, and teaches Tai Chi and meditation at Naropa University.
