Group meditation retreat is an essential part of the Shambhala-Buddhist path. Practicing and studying together, we further our understanding and realization of the Dharma, along with increasing both our personal and the group's windhorse, thus giving power and potency to the vision of Shambhala.
This spring, we are offering several opportunities to practice within community. We are hosting a Vajrayogini Intensive in March with Acharya Judith Simmer-Brown, Meeting the Queen of Dakinis. We will also be hosting an advanced Vajrayana practice retreat with Lindy King, Vajrayogini Four Karmas Fire Puja, for practitioners who have completed Vajrayogini Amending the Mantra Fire Puja.
If you are interested in a solo retreat, we recommend that you consider our sister retreat center Dorje Khyung Dzong, located in Southern Colorado.
Shambhala Mountain, like any dharma center, can only thrive with the support of senior students. Please consider staffing our upcoming Shambhala Training programs, the Ngöndro Intensive, Rigden Abisheka, and Winter Dathün. Staffing opportunities include meditation instructors, aides, assistant directors, coordinators, and more.
