Shambhala Sacred Path: Perky with Acharya Arawana HayashiMay 6 – 8, 2009
As the second of the four dignities, Perky focuses on cultivating sharp, vibrant and uplifted energy through natural discipline. Overcoming the trap of doubt, the warrior of Perky is able to accomplish his or her activities with a sense of nobility and ease.
Prerequisite: Meek Acharya Arawana Hayashi is a dancer, choreographer, and master meditation teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage who recently completed a three-year term as teacher-in-residence at Karmê Chöling in Vermont. Chair of the Shambhala Arts Council and faculty member of the Shambhala Institute for Authentic Leadership, she also offers Presence workshops nationwide with Otto Scharmer, coauthor with Peter Senge of Presence: An Exploration of Profound Change in People, Organizations and Society.
