Writers' Intensive: The Fruit of Meditation & Creativity with Susan PiverMay 28 – June 3, 2010
As writers we all hunger for the same things: time to write and creative flow. Yet even when we find such precious time, it may not be easy to settle into the writing groove. Through practicing meditation, however, we can access our true voice and deepest inspiration. Join us for this six day retreat as we interweave meditation practice, personal writing time and group discussion, sharing both silence and our writing with each other. Open to writers in all genres, published or unpublished. Introductory meditation instruction will be offered. Please feel free to bring your laptop.
This extended retreat is for writers wishing to attend both of Susan's programs -- her weekend retreat May 28 to 31 and her weekday retreat May 31 to June 3. A 20% tuition discount is provided to people registering here for the extended retreat. Susan Piver is the New York Times bestselling author of four books and a frequent contributor to the Shambhala Sun and Body+Soul magazine. Her latest book is The Wisdom of a Broken Heart. She has been authorized to teach meditation in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage since 2006.
