Traditional Chinese Qigong: Standing Qigong Intensive with Eva WongSeptember 25 – 27, 2010
Standing qigong is one of the most powerful and challenging practices for preserving, collecting, transforming, circulating, and storing internal energy. In this program students will:
1. Learn the 12 Wudang Standing Qigong Forms. 2. Receive individualized instruction on the 8 postures Wang Xiangzhai's Yiquan Zhangzhuan. 3. Learn how to combine standing qigong techniques of the Xiantianwujimen into a unified method of circulation of internal energy. The prerequisites for the Standing Qigong Intensive are Qigong Levels 1 through 5 and the Tendon Changing/Marrow Washing Intensive. This program is a prerequisite for Traditional Chinese Qigong Level 6. Eva Wong, author and translator of 13 books on the Taoist arts of health, meditation and qigong, is the 19th-generation lineage carrier of Xiantianwujimen Taoism (Pre-celestial Limitless Gate School of Taoism) and 3rd-generation student of Wang Xiangzhai, founder of Yiquan martial arts and Zhangzhuan (standing qigong). She is offering these programs exclusively at Shambhala Centers.
