One Inspired Rhythm: Peace Drum Circle Uniting the World in Rhythm with Christine Stevens

September 4, 2010

Peace exists beyond our grandest ideas of peace. Join us for this evening celebration as we use rhythm to access peace and joy in the present moment and offer it to the world.
Change is happening as we are witnessing a time of consciousness raising on the planet. You can be a part of a calling for peace in this drum celebration of inter-tribal rhythms. Journey from the Sufi rhythms of the daf from Iraq to the mystical pulse of the tabla from India. From the pulsing beat of the Native American pow wow drum to the polyrhythms of the djembe from Africa. Drumming transcends barriers of language, race, ethnicity, and differences.

No prior experience necessary. Drums provided for those who do not have their own. Families welcome. Event will take place from 7:30 to 10pm. Please plan to arrive by 7pm.

Order of Ceremony:

Drum Blessing
Four Directions Ceremony
