The Art of Un-doing: A Yoga & Meditation Retreat with Wendy Bramlett

September 21 – 23, 2007

By unwinding pattered tension in the body, we can access the receptivity and freedom necessary to make healthy changes in our lives.
The human body, like all living systems, is in a continuous state of change. A well-balanced yoga practice increases the body’s resilience, thereby enhancing its capacity to integrate change. Through the skillful unwinding of patterned tension, we can free up compressed areas in the body, which allows for a fresh sense of openness, freedom of movement and ease. This un-doing is essential to the practice because it serves to guide us into a state of deep awareness and receptivity. A receptive body is beautifully available to healthy change.

Wendy Bramlett is the founder of Studio Be Yoga in Boulder. She has been involved with the study and practice of yoga since the age of eighteen, and has been teaching since 1980. Wendy’s creative teaching style is reflective of her appreciation for the internal practice of yoga, and emphasizes the dynamic interplay of focused action and receptive awareness.
