Extended Intermediate & Advanced Kyudo Intensive with Kanjuro Shibata XX, Sensei

An extended retreat for intermediate and advanced kyudo students.

Kanjuro Shibata XX, Sensei will be leading two Kyudo programs at Shambhala Mountain, an intermediate/advanced program June 10 to 13, and a beginning program June 12 to 15. We are offering qualified students the opportunity to register here for both retreats at a discounted rate. For students who have already taken first shot.

Kanjuro Shibata XX, Sensei, is a 20th-generation Kyudo master and 3rd-generation bowmaker to the Emperor of Japan. He was invited to the West in 1980 by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Together they founded kyudojos (practice halls) in North America and Europe under the auspices of Zenko International. Having trained in Kyudo since childhood, Shibata Sensei, now in his eighties, is the preeminent teacher in the Way of the Bow.
