The mountains, forests, and valleys offer 10 miles of wilderness hiking trails, allowing you to immerse yourself in the gift of unspoiled nature. The Shambhala Botanic Gardens are a remarkable horticultural environment at about eight thousand feet above sea level.
Shambhala Mountain Center offers indoor and seasonal outdoor dining with meals three times daily, picturesque views, hiking, a yoga studio, and a workout facility.
If you appreciate sacred architecture, you may want to visit our two special landmarks: The Great Stupa, a stunning example of Buddhist architecture, and the Amaterasu Omi Kami Shrine, which honors the principal awe-inspiring, life-affirming deity in the Shinto tradition.
During the summer months we offer childcare services for ages 3-15 at our Shotoku Children's Center.
