Shuttle Service Information
for Participants, Program Staff, and Program Presenters

To reserve Shambhala Mountain Center shuttle service, you must provide the following:

  1. Your airline arrival and departure flight times and dates to and from Denver International Airport;
  2. Your airline name and flight number;
  3. Payment method and authorization, and/or information (credit card number, and expiration date);
  4. Pay for this service in full;
  5. Provide a cell phone number where you can be reached on the day of your travel;

** Please Note ** Even for programs that are four days or shorter, we may offer direct shuttle service from Denver International Airport to SMC, if enough people reserve SMC shuttle service on your arrival or departure day.

Before booking your flight

  • Confirm what time your program ends on your departure day.
    • If it ends after lunch, book a flight that departs from Denver International Airport ("DEN") after 7:00pm.
    • If the final day of your program is a "departure / travel day", book a flight that departs from Denver International Airport ("DEN") after 2:00pm;
  • Contact the Travel Coordinator to determine whether there will be direct shuttle service offered for your program. On days that direct shuttle service is provided, no local shuttle service is provided between Ft. Collins and Shambhala Mountain Center.

Direct Shuttle Service
between Denver International Airport ("DEN") and SMC:

  • As previously mentioned, we can arrange direct shuttle service if enough people contact us in advance to request this direct service. On days that direct shuttle service is provided, no local shuttle service is provided between Ft. Collins and Shambhala Mountain Center.
  • If this direct service is being offered, your flight must arrive at Denver International Airport ("DEN") by 11:00am.
  • Your flight must depart from Denver International Airport ("DEN") later than 2:00pm, or 7:00pm, depending on the ending time of your program.
  • We schedule direct shuttle arrival and departure times after we receive everyone's arrival and departure flight information.
  • We will contact you at least a week before your program start date to confirm the arrival time to Denver International Airport ("DEN") of your shuttle that will take you to Shambhala Mountain Center.
  • The non-refundable/non-transferable cost of the shuttle between Shambhala Mountain Center and DEN is $72 each way and will be billed to your card upon you confirming travel arrangements with us.

If direct shuttle service is not available
on your arrival and/or departure day:

You have to arrange two separate shuttle services: one with Super Shuttle, and one with Shambhala Mountain Center. If you book your flight to arrive later than 1:00pm on your arrival day, and/or to depart earlier than 2:00pm or 7:00pm on your departure day, we may have to arrange personal shuttle service for you, which will be more expensive than regular shuttle service through Shambhala Mountain Center.

Arrivals to Shambhala Mountain Center:

  1. Reserve a shuttle through Super Shuttle that will take you from Denver International Airport ("DEN") to the Fort Collins Hilton on Prospect Rd.
    • The cost of the Super Shuttle, between Denver International Airport ("DEN") and Fort Collins Hilton is $32 each way (as of August 10, 2009).

  2. Shambhala Mountain Center will pick you up from the Fort Collins Hilton. (Remember, your flight still must arrive to Denver International Airport ("DEN") before 1:00pm.)
    • The non-refundable/non-transferable cost of the SMC shuttle between Shambhala Mountain Center and the Fort Collins Hilton is $40 each way and will be billed to your card upon you booking travel arrangements with us.

Departures from Shambhala Mountain Center:

  1. Reserve a shuttle through Super Shuttle that will take you from the Fort Collins Hilton on Prospect Rd. to Denver International Airport ("DEN"). (See contact information below). (Remember your flight must still depart from Denver International Airport ("DEN") after 2:00pm or 7:00pm, depending on the ending time of your program.)
  2. Inform the Travel Coordinator what time your Super Shuttle departs from the Hilton.
    • The SMC Shuttle only provides service to the Fort Collins Hilton between the hours of 9:30am – 5:30pm.
  3. The SMC shuttle will drop you off at the Fort Collins Hilton. (Remember, your flight still must arrive to Denver International Airport ("DEN") before 1:00pm.)
