Job Summary:
This position will utilize database management skills and costumer service experience to maintain donor constituent records, to process donor gifts and to communicate with donors and work peers to support the fundraising initiatives of Shambhala Mountain Center.

Job Duties:
• Reconciling donor, registration and financial database information
• Updating individual and group records on an ongoing basis
• Tracking group donor communications and relationships
• Coordinating mailings and database-dependent research projects
• Managing systematized appreciation systems such as thank you letters
• Developing and maintaining reports to meet fundraisers’ needs
• Communicating directly with donors regarding pledges and payments
• Processing and tracking individual financial contributions
• Coordinating funds collection during and after fundraising events
• Assisting with solicitation and collection of funds through direct donor communications via phone, email and written correspondence, and in person while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Qualifications:
• B.A. from an accredited university
• 2 years experience in fundraising, accounting or a related field
• Knowledge of or a high degree of trainability in working with a relational donor database system such as Paradigm, Microsoft Access, or Raiser’s Edge
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
• Ability to relate with co-workers to realize information management and reporting objectives.
