Giving to the Stupa
![]() |
One of the wonders of the Buddhist world, The Great Stupa is the largest stupa in North America. It is filled with original statues and paintings that preserve the spiritual art of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and make it accessible to people here in the West.
Open to the public after its consecration in August 2001, The Great Stupa is a pilgrimage spot for Buddhist practitioners and a powerful symbol that opens the hearts of all who visit it. Many thousands of people will touch the lineage of Trungpa Rinpoche and the teachings of the Buddha at The Great Stupa; its presence is an aspiration for peace and harmony throughout the world. For those interested in mindfulness, Buddhist meditation or Tibetean Buddhism, we strongly encourage you to visit this sacred monument.
Built over a 14-year period, The Great Stupa was constructed primarily by volunteers and funded by private donations.
Please offer your financial support to this inspired project. Your gift will be used for the ongoing maintenance of the Stupa and its surrounding gardens.
Tax-deductible contributions may be sent to
