Abby Wills, a Yoga Ed. instructor, teaches kids and teens at public, private and yoga schools in Los Angeles, California. With more than 16 years' experience teaching children, Abby is devoted to sharing the light of yoga with youth of all ages. Her teaching is informed by the yoga traditions of the Krishnamacharya lineage, Tantric views and practices, as well as progressive, constructivist theories of development. Among her teaching certificates, Abby holds the title of Yoga Siromani, which she received as a result of intensive studies at the Sivananda Vedanta Yoga Ashram in Kerala, India. Her studies include Yoga Works teacher training under the guidance of Maty Ezraty and Lisa Walford, and Yoga Ed. certification and yoga philosophy at Loyola Marymount University. Abby has been blessed to practice meditation under the guidance of master teachers including Pema Chödrön, Tsoknyi Rinpoche, Thrangu Rinpoche, Sharon Salzburg and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. In addition to facilitating teachers' trainings internationally, Abby is currently teaching kids and teens in Los Angeles at New Roads Middle School, the Walther School, Insight Yoga and Silverlake Yoga. She is continuing her studies in the Human Development department at Pacific Oaks College, where she seeks to learn new ways to effect social change through critical pedagogy and yoga.
