Adana Barbieri is a teacher and student of Shambhala Buddhism, having studied initially with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. She first attended Vajradhatu Seminary in 1975, the first of several she attended as a student, staff member or teacher. She later worked with the Vajra Regent Osel Tendzin to help create the Shambhala Training program. She is currently active in the administration of the Fort Collins Shambhala Center. Adana and Jonathan, her husband, have recently created DralaGroup, LLC, a development company for contemplative cohousing communities. She is also a realtor in Fort Collins, Colorado.
