Cynthia Moku has been practicing the art of Japanese brush since 1994 and the art of Buddhist scroll painting since 1974. She was a student of Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche and continues her meditation training with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, for whom she paints iconography of the Vajrayana Buddhist tradition. The founder of Naropa University’s Visual Art Degree Program, Cynthia teaches there as a senior adjunct professor in a variety of disciplines and academic studies. Her artwork is exhibited in the Buddhist Art collection of the Denver Art Museum.
