Support a National Movement to Heal Racism in Our Buddhist Communities and Beyond

About the Retreat:

An inspiring group of Buddhist teachers and practitioners from different lineages, including people of color and white, have worked together for two years to organize a national retreat
called “Love & Racial Justice: A Multi-Tradition Movement Healing Racism.”

They are bringing together Buddhists and practitioners from other wisdom traditions who have experience facilitating self-reflective, contemplative work on healing racism. The assembled group will be composed roughly of 55% people of color and 45% white identified. Together they will practice meditation, contemplation, movement, conversation, racial caucusing, and experiential exercises that get to the heart of healing internalized racism and oppression. They aspire to ignite a multi-tradition movement that builds capacity toward action for racial justice within our respective sanghas and beyond.
