Yoga and meditation provide an ideal practice combo to bring us back to beginner’s mind – a sense of relaxation, effortlessness, and unconditional cheerfulness. We will alternate between meditation practices and yoga sequences to work with our mind and body that can naturally bring us back to fresh start.
De West is a leader in the Boulder yoga community and is a co-director of Studio Be Yoga. Her over 25 years of teaching combines alignment principles and therapeutic yoga. As a teacher, De is insightful, intuitive, and attentive. Her years of work with osteopathic doctors allow her to apply yoga to many different people and conditions. Brian Spielmann has been a Buddhist practitioner for 30 years and has studied with a variety of teachers including Sakyong Mipham, Ponlop Rinpoche, Khandro Rinpoche, and Tulku Thondup. He previously served as Director of Marketing and Business Development for Shambhala Mountain Center and in 2010 he Founded Authentic Presence, Inc, a digital marketing firm that promotes well-known experts, particularly in the therapy, spiritual, and wellness fields.
