Shambhala Sacred Path: Great Eastern Sun & Windhorse with Frank Berliner

Enter the Sacred Path of the Warrior in this intensive retreat format. In Great Eastern Sun, we will learn to see the primordial energy and brilliance that is the basis of all that exists, the living context for building a sane society. In Windhorse, we will cultivate our ability to open our heart and connect directly with the inherent confidence of the warrior’s way.
Prerequisites: Shambhala Training Heart of Warriorship program (Levels I – V)

Frank Berliner, MA, is a core faculty member at Naropa University, where he teaches Buddhist and Western humanistic/existential psychology and has pioneered the teaching of meditation on-line there since 1999. A senior student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, he has served as national director for Shambhala Training, and executive director and resident teacher of the Shambhala Meditation Center in Berkeley, California. He now maintains a private practice as a psychotherapist and organizational consultant in Boulder, Colorado, specializing in executive coaching, communication and conflict resolution.
Frank Berliner is an associate professor of Contemplative Psychology at Naropa University. He became a student of the Vidyadhara in 1974 and later served as the national director of Shambhala Training, and executive director and resident teacher of the Berkeley Shambhala Meditation Center. Frank is also a psychotherapist and life coach in Boulder, Colorado.
