Shambhala Kurukullā practitioners are warmly invited to attend this autumn’s Kurukullā practice intensive at Shambhala Mountain Center. The retreat will include all aspects of the sādhana including an extended feast practice dedicated to the development and prosperity of Shambhala Mountain Center. The program will include presentations of any additional practice instructions given at the 2013 Kurukullā empowerments. There will be ample time for discussion of the sādhana along with extended practice.
Prerequisites: To attend this program you must be a Shambhala Werma or Vajrayogini practitioner who has received the Kurukullā empowerment and practice from Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. If you are a Shambhala Werma or Vajrayogini practitioner and would like to receive the empowerment in order to attend the program, it will be offered in Halifax, Nova Scotia: July 31 – August 3 and at Dechen Choling: August 23 – 26.
Walker Blaine is Master of Liturgies to Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Walker has studied and practiced the dharma in Shambhala since 1984. In addition to being a student of the Sakyong, he has studied intensively with Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. Walker’s ebook, The Great River of Blessings an account of the Rinchen Terdzö received by the Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche in the winter of 2008-2009, can be downloaded at the Sakyong Foundation. They are both members of the Nalanda Translation Committee.
