Shambhala Training Level II: Birth of the Warrior
November 1–3, 2013
This weekend workshop builds on the meditation practice introduced in Level I and explores how we create a cocoon of our habitual ways of thinking often obscuring the brilliance of the world we live in. By opening to our own genuineness and tenderness, we learn how to work with fear and appreciate that there is no fundamental obstacle to experiencing basic goodness.
Prerequisite: Completion of Shambhala Training Level I
Patricia was introduced to meditation in 1986 by an Episcopal priest, who was also a zen practitioner. This, along with reading Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind, influenced her to attend Naropa University, where she received her masters in Contemplative Psychotherapy. In 1995, she met Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and became his student within the Shambhala tradition. She lives in Louisville, Colorado where she has a private psychotherapy practice specializing in treating trauma.
Financial aid is available for this program.
