Take a Leap Into 2013: Establish Your Intention and Commitment
December 29, 2012–January 1, 2013
We have had a program change for ‘Take a Leap into 2013’ originally scheduled for December 28-January 1. The facilitated program will begin on Saturday, December 29 at 2:30pm (rather than on the evening of December 28) and end, as scheduled on Tuesday, January 1 after lunch around 1:30pm.
Join us for this special program and allow your aspirations for the New Year to become clear, confident and committed through reflection and renewal. Our gathering will include meditation, contemplative practices, and open time to rest and reflect. On New Year’s Eve we will celebrate with a delicious full-course dinner.
Jonathan Barbieri has taught Buddhist and Shambhala trainings extensively throughout North America for over 30 years. Each year he presents a New Year’s Resolution program at Shambhala Mountain Center that explores how to bring our aspirations into focus by slowing down and seeing more clearly through Mindfulness meditation. Jon has been engaged in several livelihood pursuits including consulting with cities and counties on workforce development, creating contemplative co-housing communities, and, most recently, teaching Mindfulness programs to public agencies and businesses. He was formerly the Executive Director of Shambhala Mountain Center.
Financial aid is available for this program.
