Tuition $775 + 11 nights



If your preferred lodging type is not available please register for an available option and then indicate your lodging preference under “Room Waitlist.”  If your lodging preference becomes available we will offer you the upgrade. Lodge Housing will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

Land Closure Policy:

Due to the nature of this program, family members or friends of Scorpion Seal participants are not permitted to stay at Shambhala Mountain Center from July 12th to July 23th.

Apply as Staff:

This will register you and will not charge your card. Staff positions and discounts will be announced in several months. 


Participation in the entire Assembly is required.


To reserve your spot, 50% of lodging cost and 50% of tuition deposit is due upon registration.

The full remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date

Cancellation Policy: 

If you cancel 14 or more calendar days prior to your arrival date, payments made will be refunded in full (less a 5.5% processing fee). If you cancel between 13 and 2 calendar days prior to your scheduled arrival date, nonrefundable program credit in the amount paid will be available for you to use for two years from the initial date of issue.  Program credit may not be applied to any amounts previously paid for past or future programs.No credit or refund is available (1) if you cancel the day prior to your arrival day or on your scheduled arrival day, (2) if you do not show up, or (3) if you leave a program or event early. No refund will be available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content. These provisions also apply to the cancellation of (1) additional nights booked before or after a program’s official arrival and departure dates and (2) housing downgrades.

Materials Fee:

The materials fee for the 2020 SSA III has yet to be confirmed but is estimated at $170.00 USD, not including shipping. This is a required cost, not included in the tuition.

Shambhala Benefits:

No laundry service will be provided during this program.

Program Details

Arrival and registration is between 10am and 5pm on Arrival Day for participants. All participants and volunteer staff must check in at our Guest Registration house. Please arrive before 5:00 p.m. to check in and settle into your accommodations. Departure will be after breakfast on Departure Day.

Travel Information:

Direct, shuttle-bus transportation to and from Denver International Airport is available on designated arrival and departure days for this program.
