Summer Ngöndro Intensive
Acharya Allyn Lyon
June 1–9, 2012
Whether you are seeking to establish your Ngöndro practice or are an experienced practitioner, join us for this special summer program. By practicing in a group context, we increase both our personal and group windhorse, while giving power and potency to the vision of Shambhala. We also foster a sense of camaraderie and celebration during our time together. All ngondro practitioners are warmly invited to attend. This retreat fulfills the group-practice requirement for Rigden Ngöndro practitioners.
Prerequisite: Shambhala Vajrayana Seminary
Shambhala Mountain Center encourages and supports intensive practice opportunities for all Shambhala community members. Therefore, we are making this program available to all qualified tantrikas under our generosity policy. This policy allows participants to pay what they can afford by selecting one of three pricing options, as follows:
Full Pay: Our regular room and board rates are encouraged for all those who can afford this level. By selecting the Full Pay option, you are helping the Center meet its operating costs and also providing more opportunities for others who must elect one of our reduced rate options.
$80/Nightly: This is a flat room and board rate for those who cannot elect the Full Pay option. Your accommodations will be the best we have available, up to a Lodge Single Shared Bath, after accommodating all participants who are paying our regular rates. Priority for best-available housing will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We will not be able to confirm which housing you will be assigned, until one week prior to the program’s start date.
$50/Nightly: This rate is for those who require substantial financial assistance to attend the program and allows for Seasonal Dorm/Shared Bath accommodations only.
During the program, there will also be an opportunity to offer a teachers gift. We encourage all attendees to contribute at whatever level they can.
