The Wisdom of the Circle: The Way of Council Level I

John McCluskey and Viviane Ephraimson-Abt

January 21–23, 2011

Tuition $215 + 2 nights

This program has been rescheduled for October 2011.

During a council, our individual truth is expressed and heard in a deeply respectful way. Within this safe space, skillful communication can happen in all relationships at work, school, home and within a larger community. When we speak authentically and listen intentionally we can transform ourselves and our society. We will learn the fundamentals of council participation and facilitation including techniques for creating a safe environment, the art of intentional listening and speaking, and other council forms. We can then bring council practice into our personal lives, our community, and our profession.

John McCluskey, M.S., has facilitated council since 1991. He is the co-founder and Director of the Center for Council Training in Colorado and has worked as a schoolteacher and administrator since 1989.
