Shambhala Vajrayana Seminary with Sakyong Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche

Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche

July 6–21, 2007

Tuition $500 + 15 nights

Shambhala Vajrayana Seminary enters the student into the Vajrayana teachings and practices of our Shambhala and Buddhist lineages. During this program, students will receive authorization and training in the Primordial Rigden Ngöndro practices under Sakyong Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche’s personal guidance. In applying for Vajrayana Seminary, students are requesting to be accepted as Vajrayana students of Sakyong Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche and committing to follow his practice instructions. Thus, attendance at this program requires a personal connection and commitment to Sakyong Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche, the teachings of the Vidyadhara, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and the Shambhala Buddhist mandala.

This year Shambhala Vajrayana Seminary will be a two-week program. Those seminarians who are able are encouraged to extend their stay to attend Cutting Through with Ashe: A Shambhala Dzogchen Retreat with Sakyong Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche. That retreat will include a Primordial Rigden Ngöndro group for new Vajrayana practitioners, as well as Werma, Vajrayogini, Chakrasamvara and Mahamudra practice tracks led by acharyas. The entire assembly will receive teachings from the Sakyong, and individual practice groups will have audiences with him. If you choose to attend both programs, you will receive a $150 discount. Click here to register for both programs.

Prerequisites: See www.shambhala.org/program/vys.
