Matthew Parkinson

Matthew Parkinson, MA, LPC has been practicing meditation in the Shambhala tradition since 2005 and is a student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Matthew is the Center Director of the Shambhala Center in Asheville, NC, where he lives with his wife and son. Matthew is a psychotherapist, who has been practicing in the field for eight years. Matthew is currently in private practice specializing in mindfulness-based therapy with young men and adolescents.
