Sherry Ellms

Sherry Ellms is Associate Professor in the Resilient Leadership and Ecopsychology Programs at Naropa University. She has trained with Joanna Macy and is the Faculty Director of the Joanna Macy Center at Naropa and a facilitator in the Work That Reconnects. She is a senior teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition and trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She has offered programs and retreats in spiritual and secular settings, and to community non-profit organizations.  Trained at the School of Lost Borders, she leads nature based programs as a methodology for transforming our strong emotions into inspired engagement with our world and revitalize our inherent interconnection to all forms of life.
